Americans get romance. (To be fair, the article is quite good.)
Because, apparently, we are too shallow to buy magazines pitching serious journalism about global issues. Sheesh…

This reminds me of the harry potter book release where in the US the book was called the socerer’s stone while the rest of the world it was philosopher’s stone. Apparently the term philosopher is too complex for american kids.
