		<description>Great post. As it happens, I have an idea which could be very synergistic with &quot;Citizen Media&quot;. It would be interesting to see how they might work together.

It took many years, but I finally figured out a way to take the money out of the election process. In essence, the idea is to use RSS feeds, XML structures, and filtering aggregators to achieve two goals:

 1) Let people get voting advice from people they trust
 2) Let advisors make recommendations without fear of spamming anyone
     (the filters make sure that people only get recommendations they care about)

The weakness of such a system is that&#039;s only useful at election time. But if that system were part of a regular news-feed aggregrator it could empower today&#039;s &quot;citizen journalists&quot; with serious election-time influence.
