Well, here’s where we kick back and toast ourselves for being part of the 5th estate.
But wait: #1 story on Megite; #2 story on TechMeme, #2 on TailRank… I think there’s a saying out there about a certain type of fruit not falling far from the tree.
Once upon a time Apple had been vilified for suing independent publishers (erroneously called bloggers); but, when was that? 2006? 2005?
Ok, there’s one blog aggregator which doesn’t feature Apple at all: Technorati, which in its paean to egalitarianism, just rotates images of the top-linked blogs on its home page (would you believe that Kathy Sierra’s blog shows up).
As Shafer points out, at this point, no publicity is bad publicity, so no matter what piercing insights are provided by the sea of blogs about Apple, they’re pretty much merged into the PR borgosphere.
